I didn’t go to fashion school.
This is how my fashion journey really happened.
It all started by accident.
While traveling, an airline lost my suitcase.
I bought a sewing machine and started making my own clothes.
People began asking where my clothes were from…and if I could make something for them too.
That curiosity turned into my first brand — without formal training or a plan.
That brand didn’t work out but I learned a lot from from it. The failure I felt from things not working out gave me time to reflect, patience, and a stronger sense of purpose this time around.
When I started again, I knew I wanted to be more intentional. Quality over quantity. Craft over trends.
Making women feel good in their skin, because I struggled with body image for years myself.
I explored my creativity and made a lot of different things:
Leisure. Corsets. Tracksuits.
I was constantly challenging my skills and learning new techniques.
On my 30th birthday, I made a maxi dress that gained more attention than I expected. It was the first design I draped on my body at the time because I hadn’t gotten a dress for yet.
That dress helped clarify my direction: I ended up falling in love with draping & wanted to focus on making dresses.
After my birthday, I got married — and I made my own wedding dress.
Soon after, I became pregnant with my first child. That period was incredibly difficult, and there was a moment where I truly thought I would have to close the business.
After my maternity leave I decided to start a whole new Instagram from scratch where I could share more honesty my journey as a fashion designer.
The first video I posted on the new account of me draping my wedding rehearsal dress reached 4.4 million views.
From that moment on, I posted every single day — even when it felt hard.
Slowly, things grew.
From tiny studios… to shared spaces… to my own store and showroom in Barcelona.
Today, we make dresses locally in Barcelona — with a small team and a community built through consistency.
